Red? The rage at my anxiety. Yellow? The lemons life sometimes gives me. Blue? The sweet sadness in my soul. Green? My envy when it comes. Orange? The flames of my heart. Purple? The prose I write. Brown? The coffee I adore. Pink? I like being in it. Grey? I hope my personality isn't this. White? The lovely blank page of a new day. Black? The dog that gnaws.
not so depressing… i really like the sound of it. creative too :))

Oh, thank you. π I like to TRY to be inventive!
Maybe I’ll steal something from you, next time. π

Well it’s certainly a nice new experience, looking for something fresh. Thankyou for saying that.
Haha I think there’s plenty to steal… you’re probably just trying to put me off. π
But thank you.
Haha what was it that Picasso once said? “When there’s anything to steal, I steal.” π π

Hehe, I think my chances of anything approaching Picassodom are pretty slim, mon ami… maybe this is best? All that pressure and fame? Very tiring… and no anonymity for Greek holidays. π
But that could be a good name for an artistic website: “Open Your Creative Pockets”. π

Hahahaha :))) yes. “Creative Pockets”. But only if you wanna to sell something, from noneexistent-Buffy-Picasso. About fame..yeah, make a choice: Mykonos or “photo in magazine”

Hmm… “nonexistent-Buffy-Picasso” might be a post next week… watch out for it. π π
Yep, it’s a choice alright… anonymous-rich > famous-rich > famous-poor. π

Hi Brian… I’m posting this here because a WP glitch means I can’t post comments on other peoples’ blogs directly… but CAN contact them via the sidebar. Odd, eh?
Anyway, with regard to your last post, thank you for writing it — this might sound like nonsense right now, but I think with that decision to go today, you’ve actually made it one of your best days.
Not the most enjoyable… but one of your best.
Haha it’s all relative and maybe I’ll be able to explain that better some other time — but trust me, OK? π
Take it easy. π

Hi Buffy,
Thank you. You are right on a number of levels. I glanced back at my workout log, my weights were actually a bit higher through out much of workout. But more importantly I didn’t give the defeatist demons any ground.
I was talking to a friend yesterday and he mentioned how much I have become more of myself the last year. I came into myself when I said out loud, I want to get bigger. It could have been “I want to wear fuzzy slippers on the bus”. It’s the most honest thing I have ever said. My past and how I interrupted my place in the world derailed my pursuit for to long. I’m in it now.
Thank you!
Brian

This piece feels increasingly optimsitic and almost playful. Would have been cool to see the indentions move the other way (like a staircase moving upwards).

Bright colours in general have a positive effect on my mood, as well.

I wonder if your interpretation of each colour changes day by day. I know mine would. Some days red will be all “a heart full of love” and the next “the slaughtered blood of mine enemies”…but maybe that’s just me π . Very insightful, I love it. We all need a little colour on our blank page don’t we?

Thank you very much: I’m glad you liked it.
And that’s a very interesting question… yes, I think the colours would change depending on mood, etc. (Love the “blood of mine enemies”, btw… may I use that?!) And yes, it’d be interesting to try and see if I can write an alternate version of the spectrum(!)
For all of us, to use all the colours is definitely to live fullest — with the good and bad that includes [!]
