Dear Buffy the Blogger:

-- You've not blogged (or read blogs) for a while?
-- You're feeling bad about it?

Well, don't worry.
Here's how it is (just my view, y'understand, but then again, I'm bloody clever):

-- Your absence stems from mind-fog.
-- Your mind-fog stems from agony.
-- Your agony stems from anxiety.
-- Your anxiety is a result of fear, OCD, some depression, and (last but not least) continuous psychological abuse from those too physically close for comfort.

Give yourself a break, will you?

You've not lost your inner strength, and the following things will return in time:

-- Calm.
-- Clarity.
-- Self-regard.
-- Blogging mojo.
-- Outer strength.

And, even better, when that blogging mojo returns, you'll be able to express your thoughts on what's happened during this bloody cruel August and, hopefully, be able to help someone else.

No worries, matey...

The Angel on your shoulder. X

      1. ❤ Very mixed right now, Katrina… but I’ve got some good things happening in early September, so I’m much looking forward to them — plus being a more regular blogger, which has eluded me for a while, sadly! Lovely to hear from you. 🙂

  2. If it’s any consolation I have not blogged in months! You go through seasons with blogging. Sometimes you have a lot to say and other times you don’t. When you have a message to give, something that is on your heart to express, then the words and the mojo will return. No point pushing it for the sake of it 🙂 xx

    1. Haha it’s not though you’ve not been busy recently though, Caroline! 😉
Actually I think you’re absolutely right — spoken like a true poet, indeed. 🙂 I’m going to take those wise words on board and consider the more intuitive approach, and not worry too much.
      See you soon. 🙂 xx

      1. It is helpful, yes, though of course I wouldn’t wish anxiety or low moods on anyone(!)
I’m sorry it’s been so difficult. It’s to your credit that you’re hanging on — am proud of you. 🙂 ❤
